The town of Kluang is one of the major towns in southern state Johor. It is known to be a sleepy town which is situated around the center of the state. Known for its traditional food and cuisine, Kluang has an estimated population of around 250,000 with more than half of them residing in the city centre.
It is located around 110km from the state capital of Johor Bahru to its south while Mersing is towards the west. Heading out south will also get one to Segamat while Batu Pahat is around the southwestern areas and towards the west is Yong Peng.
